To the Lakota Nation,
(www.lakotafreedom.com)

With pleasure, I send my congratulations to all, and blessings for the continued leadership of Mr. Means! The Alaskan Independence Party was founded for similar reasons..."broken promises". We want the "vote" we were promised by United Nations Treaty as a non-self-governing territory, or, our contract, the Alaska Statehood Compact, honored. So far, no luck, but your example of patience and strength has given me a new hope. For that, I thank you from my heart.

As Chairman of the Alaskan Independence Party, I can applaud your efforts and hope that someday Alaskans will find their way too. In the meantime, the Alaskan Independence Party grants full recognition to your Lakota Nation, and, hope in the future you can do the same for Alaska.

Most sincerely,

Lynette Clark, Chairman
